I GIVE MYSELF PERMISSION - TO LET GO
Welcome to Day 2 in our 'I GIVE MYSELF PERMISSION' series.
Today, I GIVE MYSELF PERMISSION TO LET GO of everything and everyone that is holding me back from being my best, most authentic self and living my happiest life.
What or who is holding you back? Is it the image of who you once were or who you believe you should be? It is the expectations or judgments of others? Is it fear, worry, anger or resentment?
Take a deep breath in. Close your eyes. Imagine those things that keep you from moving forward. Imagine packing them all up in two suitcases. Feel yourself carrying those cases, one in each hand. Feel the heaviness, the burden of the weight you carry.
And, to yourself, say: I GIVE MYSELF PERMISSION TO LET GO. I GIVE MYSELF PERMISSION TO LET GO.
Now imagine putting them down. Just let them drop to the ground. Allow yourself to feel the relief and the freedom of letting go. Breathe out.
Identifying our burdens, those things that hold us back, is the first step toward moving forward. If you're carrying the weight of past trauma or mistakes, please recognize that we can't change the past. But we can learn and grow from it. We can't always let go forever as some of our challenges are recurring, but we can and must rest when needed.
Give yourself permission to let go, find peace, rest, regain your strength and power.
