Welcome to Day 24 of the I GIVE MYSELF PERMISSION series on self-love.

"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."

What better expression of self-love could there be than to have the courage to accept yourself exactly as you are - exactly as you WANT to be. Imagine if we all had the self-confidence to express ourselves with pure authenticity, without the pressure of trends or external impact. Of course many of us come to find ourselves by being inspired by others - but make no mistake, there is a gigantic gulf between inspiration and influence.

How often do we modify ourselves, physically and emotionally, to garner the acceptance of others; to belong, to fit in, to be allowed in. Have you ever wondered what your tribe would look like if you showed them the real you? How many of your fans, followers, 'friends' or even family would be left standing? Today, I encourage you to live your truth so you can find out.

Take a deep breath in. Breathe in deeply. Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose. Breathe at a pace that feels right to you. Hold your body in a way that feels comfortable to you. Feel your chest rise and fall with each breath. Repeat today's mantra: I GIVE MYSELF PERMISSION TO BE ME. I GIVE MYSELF PERMISSION TO BE ME. I love myself just the way I am. I have no flaws. Each part of my body is perfect. My body carries me through life and I am grateful for every inch of it. I am kind. I am strong. I see beauty in others. I see beauty all around me. I see my outward beauty and the beauty I have within. I am brave enough to share this beauty with the world. Breathe out.

Give yourself permission to be messy, unpolished, unfiltered, unfinished, bold, authentic, wild and free. Give yourself permission to be unapologetically true. To be you. Nothing says self-love like living and loving in your truth.
