2020. WTA...?

Where has the time gone?

In some ways, it feels like 2020 has dragged on forever, just an endless loop of sad news and restrictions. But, at the same time, it feels as though the year just flew by without much to show for it at all.

It was all the way back in March when I was forced to stop teaching, because, let's face it, sharing deep breaths in an enclosed space just hasn't been recommended practice.

So, what have I been up to?

Well, for starters, I have used this time to complete my studies and gain my qualifications as a Certified Nutritionist. Woohoo! I am very excited because this will give me the ability to share my knowledge and experience with others and help them to transition to a healthy, sustainable, plant-based lifestyle. Now, more than ever, taking care of our bodies, our immune systems and overall health and well-being is so vitally important. For me, that means a nutrient rich, vitamin packed, whole-food vegan diet. I can't wait to embark on this journey and help as many people as I can embrace the plant-based life.

I'm also excited to be starting a new line of study! I'm about to begin a course that will help me learn to communicate, meditate with and embrace the beauty of nature and its creatures. Working with renowned Animal Communicator Christine Noble Seller www.christinenobleseller.com I'll be learning the basics of this amazing practice - which I intend to incorporate into my existing meditation practice and nutritional guidance courses. Which leads me to...

BREAKING NEWS!

WE'RE MOVING TO COSTA RICA!!

Where better to combine nature, wildlife, plants, health and meditation than in the abundant rainforest jungles of beautiful Costa Rica. Of course, thanks to the gremlins of 2020 (#fuckcovid) this won't be happening immediately, but the cogs are turning and moves are being made. We actually started this year in Central America, travelling around, reacquainting ourselves with the land. We did this as sort of a test run to see if it still spoke to our hearts. It did. And so, we committed to ourselves and to one another that we would make this dream a reality.

It's our hope to get back to CR asap - and resume our search for our forever home. This may come in the form of an existing house or it may be that we purchase a large plot of land and start our own homestead. Either way, it is going to be EPIC!!

I'll be using this platform to keep you all informed of our progress and share our plans as they evolve. I'll also be sharing more recipes and information about vegan living along with tips on how you can help boost your immune system and stay healthy this winter. I'll be sharing insights from my studies with Christine and even a few updates from our home by the sea right here in Scotland.

If 2020 has taught us anything it is that life is so unpredictable. It can change on a dime and it is far too short. Today is the day to embrace your dreams.

I have a wall-hanging in my home that reads: Live life like it matters, and it will. Your life matters.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you all.

Stay safe. Respect each other. I wish for you an OM SO HAPPY LIFE!

Peace - Jen

OOPS...almost forgot. I also got married! It's been a crazy year!
